uninstall ubuntu

Asked by GEOFF BOA

I think my iso image was corrupted. i want to uninstall it from my windows xp-pro. with the least amount of trouble or damage to my windows partision. Is there a a graphical uninstaller . I am not an experienced terminal user

Presently Ubuntu 12.10 works , but is brutally slow. Just want to get it off cleanly. I have a "known to be good" dvd giving to me by a friend . He will quide me thru the fresh install .

As a note, I installed Ubuntu on my HP Mini netbook, all works well except the WIFI. Lan works ok. It is also running alongside WinXP.

any help would be appreciated
cheers

If 12.10 is slow, install xfce4 and log off then login to the new XFCE session.

Thanks to actionparsnip also. Will check out xfce4. Thanks NikTh. New to this type of forum and Ubuntu. Great to have it uninstalled. Will re-install on weekend with good image and Ubuntu advisor to quide me thru the steps, more than likely it is a hardware issue. cheers!
