Trying to install windows 8 on a ubuntu OS

Asked by Edwin Rivera

I just recently got a new desktop and i downloaded Ubuntu on it, but for school i am switching my labtop to windows 8, I did a complete install of ubuntu. What i mena by that was that my laptop was windows 7 at one point but i installed ubuntu OS and removed the partitions of windows 7 from it. Now im trying to install Windows 8 on it but im having issues, It wont load from boot menu and when i try to open/access the files from the cd on my archive manager i keep getting an error message but it wont tell me whats wrong. Could someone help me?
Also i should add that my system boot style starts with boot from cd.

if you resize your ext4 in live cd, you can make free space to install to. the windows installer will overwrite grub on the MBR so you will need to reinstate the bootloader, again, from live cd.

Can you help with this problem?
