I am trying to see if I can switch to ubuntu and still do work at home. I wanted to view the switching to windows info file.
It comes up with this
Internal Server Error
Hmmm... Does that mean you DONT want me to switch? My nephew did a great job of "selling ubuntu to me, but now I can't research it... Hmmm

Hi,

I'm converting your "bug report" into a "question", because then members of our help and support community will be able to see the report and help you out.

Unfortunately, we discontinued the Switching from Windows guide a couple of years ago. It was outdated, and we decided to work on different guides to help new users. There are a number of other ways you can help on starting with Ubuntu:

The official Ubuntu help pages: https://help.ubuntu.com/11.04/ubuntu-help/index.html
The downloadable PDF Ubuntu manual (a little bit out of date): http://ubuntu-manual.org/

There are a number of other guides on the internet, and a number of detailed books for beginners (disclaimer: I coauthored one of them).

i clicked on the link. it works fine. when you visited the site, it may have been experiencing problems.

anyhoo, ubuntu is just like windoze. if you're family with windoze, you can easily switch over with no problem at all. it has all the same functionality as windoze does and programs comparable in performance. however, if there are very specific software that you require, you might want to do a dual boot installation so you'll have access to those specific programs.

Can you help with this problem?
