How do I Contribute?

Asked by Andrew Bolster

I've been using FOSS for years now, and while I'm not a ninja coder, I'd like to contribute fixes such as documentation issues etc to start giving back, but am unsure of the procedures. I've read around the FAQ's and such, and different packages seem to have subtle variations in procedures.

Can anyone clue me in?

You could try this one:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpingWithBugs

Another way to give back to the community is to be active in Launchpad, Ubuntuforums, or other FOSS forums ;-)

HTH.

I had read through both of those pages (thanks anyway, hopefully they'll be of use to someone else) I just wanted to see if there was anything specific so there was no toe-stepping-on.
