Create Xubuntu Images Instead?

Asked by Stephen Michael Kellat

How would I go about getting the package to create live images using Xubuntu or Lubuntu? This would let us keep relatively up to date re-spins of the 12.04 LTS that we can use when we have to reload computers. Being able to keep a live install image re-spun so that there is not a major package download post-install would make it easier as my crew has computers that occasionally physically wear out.

There was actually a simpler answer in taking the image building script that was packaged and, with some details gleaned with the live-build manual produced by the Debian folks, adjusting that to produce xubuntu in lieu of ubuntu. Modifying the FLAVOUR line does the job.
