In Firefox I went to:
https://ubuntu.com/download/server?version=20.04&architecture=amd64 and downloaded Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS

I installed this using a CD on an older Toshiba Satellite laptop onto a blank formatted hard drive.

Then I went to
https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/install-ubuntu-server#1-overview
and went through all 15 steps.

Then I went to I went through the step-by-step guide, then went to the Attach your subscription guide.
I created a Ubuntu One account and then followed the link to Ubuntu Pro dashboard where I created a free subscription.
I then tried to attach my token by opening a command prompt and entered <sudo pro attach <your_pro_token>, I entered my token.
The response came back as:
sudo: pro: command not found

That does not make sense.
Which Ubuntu release are you now really running?

What is the output of the commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
apt policy ubuntu-advantage-tools

uname -a
Linux toshibaserver 5.15.0-43-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 12 10:30:17 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/LINUX

lsb_release -crid
Description: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Release: 22.04
Codename: jammy

apt policy ubuntu-advantage-tools
ubuntu-advantage-tools:
    Installed: 27.9~22.04.1
    Candidate: 27.9~22.04.1
    Version table:
*** 27.9~22.04.1 500

        27.7~22.04.1 500
           500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu jammy/main amd64 Packages

By the way:
I downloaded the Ubuntu Server edition 22.04 LTS iso on a windows 10 pc and burned it to a cdrom.
I hope that makes more sense.
Thank you very much for helping me.

Nevermind! I must have been asleep when I installed the server. Somehow I bypassed the network install portion.
I can only surmise that getting old sucks.
Thank you anyway and I will revisit if something else shows up.
I really appreciate your quick response.
