Installer slideshow slide wrong text

Asked by corrado venturini

Installer slideshow slide: 'Make the most of the web' says:
web applications ... like Facebook or Gmail ... can be pinned to your desktop ...
but this seems impossible in recent Ubuntu releases after 20.04.
am I wrong or is the slide wrong?
Should i file a bug?
Thanks

Does this work:

1. In chrome go to m.facebook.com
2. Go to 'hamburger menu' (three lines top right) and navigate to Tools-> Create shortcut
3. Pick if you want it in start menu (Dash in Ubuntu) and/or desktop shortcut
4. Enjoy ;)

chrome is not standard in Ubuntu. The preinstalled browser in Ubuntu is Firefox, and with FF this is not possible.

This is true.. After the install of Ubuntu.. the first pages will ask to setup Facebook, Gmail, and others, screen.
After this it will finish with you selecting Done.
This is the default startup screens after the initial install.
By selecting continue, past all the screens and selecting
Done on the last screen does not change anything to the install.
Not a bug, just Ubuntu's user friendly slideshow and quick setup utility after the install.

Does firefox have similar? Just because an application is default installed doesn't mean anything whatsoever
