I have been trying to install UBUNTU 17.10 alongside windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 5567 with an intel i5-7200 cpu.
I created the necessary partitions in the usual way with gparted and attempted to install UBUNTU. I have done this with many UBUNTU versions and never had any problems.

Until now!!! When I try to install UBUNTU 17.10 Get the message "Install failed". A dialogue box then opens with a web link to report it as a bug (which I have).

My apologies to everyone. The problem was bios settings. I changed the bios settings and was able to install ubuntu 17.10. If anyone else is having similar problems the Dell web site has info to help solve them.
