ubiquity crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in decode(): 'utf-8' … Invalid start byte

I have the Innjoo Leapbook, with Intel Atom x5 Z8350 Quad-core and Intel HD Graphics Gen8-LP 10/12EU. When I try to install ubuntu (16 and 17) with an usb and I'm choosing the language suddenly the installer crashes. This is the error title:

ubiquity crashed with UnicodeDecoodeError in decode(): 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0x91 in position 269: Invalid start byte
