You asked a question on Ubuntu's ubiquity package; I'm afraid I can't help with Ulteo directly. For example, I can't advise you on whether this has been fixed in a later version of Ulteo.

I can tell you that this happens when a partitioning helper program, qtparted, crashes, and it's https://launchpad.net/bugs/47194. We fixed most cases of this nearly two years ago in Kubuntu 6.06.1, and made the entire issue go away for good over a year ago in Kubuntu 7.04. I can only suggest looking to see if there's a newer version of Ulteo available for download.
