Ubiquity crashed, where can I find the error code list?

Asked by Kenny Stier

Ubiquity crashed when installing Gnome 16.04, and the log traceback says "ubiquity.install_misc.InstallStepError: Plugin language failed with code 2". What is Code 2? Any workaround ideas?

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
If you burned a CD / DVD, did you burn it as slowly as possible?

Thanks

It's not the "Official" Ubuntu GNOME image. I'm testing a release candidate for a new distro I'm working on that I imaged using Distroshare Ubuntu Imager. Is there a "Cheat Sheet" to figure out what these codes mean?

There are some lists, e.g. http://www.tldp.org/LDP/abs/html/exitcodes.html
but there are no strict rules obeyed by all programs.
Exit code 2 often is an indicator for parameter or option error of a command.
