Unable to connect internet via working data card connction of host machine
My host machine, windows 7, is connected to the net by wireless router as well as by a cable from the router.
The virtual machine guest system Kubuntu recognises both connections and connects to the internet.
I also use with my host system a broadband net connection using an USB data card.
However my virtual machine does not connect to the net with this.
Kindly advice how to use this USB net connection of the host machine
Thank you

This seems to be a question related to configuring network access in the host OS (Windows 7) and your VM program (virtualbox?), but has nothing to do with the guest OS, and hence is not related to (K)ubuntu.

Thank you Manfred Hampl. I enabled the network adapter 2 and set it to NAT. Now the network activity indicates that it is connected to Bridge as well as NAT. And with data card I am able to use the net connection. Thank you.
