Installing networked HP wireless M1213MFP printer via samba from kubuntu
My dualboot KUBUNTU system is able to share files with networked computers, thanks to help I got from this column.
The networked printer though appears under printer, but when I give a test page for printing it says rendering completed:
But it is not printing and the status messgae is 'Filter failed.'
When I give a configure command from the printer screen, under driver it says, Current - HP Laserjet proffessional m1213 MFP, hpcus 3.14.3, requires proprietary plugin.
Even if provide the original printer cd it is of no use. But i do not know whether the cd contans a driver for Linux or not.
Please help me get over this configurauon issue.
Thanks in advance

What is the output of:
lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep hplip
Thanks
You are not connecting to the networked printer via Samba, this has nothing to do with Samba.

At the right side bottom HP logo has got added.
But including my earlier installations, 3 printers and 1 fax are showing up if I go to printer link.
Since I am having problems even now, but as many new files have been downloaded now, can I simply remove all 3 +1 the printers/fax installed and try to newly search/install a network printer?
If my question does not make sense, please advice me is there anything else I can do to proceed further?
Thanks once again
Mani

Wired, not wireless.
I am sorry there is a fundamental mistake in my question.
I don't know whether this mistake might be responsible still for my problems!
