Please read this:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Ubuntu 10.04 will be end-of-life in a few weeks from now.

I suggest performing a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, which is
supported until April 2017.

Can you help with this problem?
