Is Ubuntu 11.04 works on Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 230 1.60 GhZ processor

Hai,
 I am new to ubantu, Currently i am working with Windows XP on my system.

I would like to install Ubantu 11.4 version Software on my system.
My system configuration are
                    : Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 230 a 1.60 GHZ System and 1 GB Ram
1) Is this version working fine for this configuration, or i should go for another lower version of the ubantu. If u have any alternative please tell me.

2) Is this version has built in Audio and video drivers ? with inbuilt VLC Media player or should i install it separately?.

we didn't have net specility.

Please give me some idea about these.

Natty is EOL. There are no more packages for it and no more support for it. I recommend a clean install of Precise which gives support til April 2017.

VLC is not installed by default but its easily installable from software centre. You can also install the media codecs and so forth using the ubuntu-restricted-extras package

If you want a snappier OS, I recommend you install Xubuntu 12.04, it is designed to use fewer resources.
