Well, there is a image of Ubuntu for Phones prepared for devices like GT-S5830i (galaxy ace i) ? Because , if there is in Canonical program to support these devices , people will be happy for two reasons :

one is most of these devices mount the stock android 2.3 , and some of this haven't got a mod or a they have got a old and full of bug mod (like cyanogenmod 7 for the GT-S5830i ) . I think the people will be happy to have a choice apart from the stock rom (and there are a lot of these terminals without 512 MB - 1GB of internal memory and without a dual/quad core cpu) .

2) More terminals are supported , will be more earnings for Canonical and an advantage for users in general .

I thought about use the Ubuntu 13.04 image for the nexus 7, but there were two principal problem :

the interface for the tablet it's very similar to the desktop interface , so it's useless in smartphones ;

2) the image it's too big, so or I cut something or it's impossible to put it in a device with less of 512 MB of internal memory .

I've to try something with the new images (or image I don't know ) of the Ubuntu Phone OS , but if the images are usable in a terminal with less than 512 MB of internal memory , the task will be simple .

Sorry if I was boring and good luck to the project .

Can you help with this problem?
