Did you uninstall using wubi (the windows installer), or a liveCD/USB, if you used wubi you can boot up windows and remove it using add or remove programs in control panel, if you used a liveCD you will need to write your master boot record to boot windows, before formatting the partition containing ubuntu. Make sure you rewrite the MBR first though otherwise your computer will not boot.

If you didn't use Wubi, just boot to your OS install media and remove Ubuntu and install what you want.
