precise-core-amd64 seems to be i386

Asked by gregrwm

i downloaded and unpacked

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/precise/daily/current/precise-core-amd64.tar.gz
(27-Dec-2012 09:52 37M)

and, in it, ran

dpkg-query -Wf'${PackageSpec}\t${Version}\t${Architecture}\n'|more

i am surprised to see all the packages are i386. seems like some mistake. shouldn't they be 64bit? where do i get 64bit precise core?

the 12/27 "amd64" core daily was actually i386. sombody goofed!
the 12/26 build was actually amd64, so that'll do for me.
