Toshiba NB100-116

Hello, i´m from Portugal and i'm new in Ubuntu S.O.
I need help.
It is possible put the new Ubuntu 12.10 desktop on my Toshiba NB100-116?
At the moment i have windows xp and ubuntu 12 in dual-boot, but i only prefer in une boot UBUNTU S.O.
And, also, i lile to have more informations about software, for exemple office or nero or other that i use in ms so.

If you boot to the Ubuntu media to use the entire disk. This will destroy ALL data so be sure you have made a final backup of all important data from BOTH OSes before you start. This will setup the drive in a default fashion. If you want a separate /home partition then use the 'something else' option. I recommend:

20Gb Ext4 for /
2Gb for swap (I noticed the system has 1Gb RAM)
the rest in Ext4 format for /home

This keeps your user data away from the system and makes backups and reinstalls easier.
