What is pae ? => http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_Address_Extension

How to install Ubuntu 12.04 on a non-capable pae CPU
http://www.webupd8.org/2012/05/how-to-install-ubuntu-1204-on-non-pae.html

I think the same is for 12.10.

Thanks

Install 12.04 Lubuntu and you won't have PAE in the kernel. You can then install Unity etc if you wish. Probably a wiser choice to keep LXDE for a more responsive OS

Can you help with this problem?
