windows xp with ubuntu 12.04

I am running ubuntu 12.04, and would like to also run windows XP so I can use my lexmark printer. How can I boot a XP disk? If I just put the cd in, it automaticly goes into Ubuntu.

Hi ,

Be aware that if you install Windows XP then you will not be able to boot in Ubuntu , until you restore grub.

Your problem seems to be related to BIOS. During boot of PC hold down the key to boot into BIOS configuration page (F2 or Del or F12). Then search the boot order section and change the device order. Place first the CD/DVD device.

Rocky: What is the exact model and make of your printer? You might not need to install Windows XP at all.
