You can use a program like u net bootin (google it) to burn it to a normal usb stick instead. If you want another way of installing you can download the windows installer wubi, however this can be slightly buggy, so the iso is probably the way to go.PC without burning it to the DVD drive?

What OS are you wanting to use it in?

I am assuming you mean the iso image for the Ubuntu install CD.

Your options are:

1. Create a CD with it with suitable CD / DVD Burner and software.

2. Create a boot-able USB drive or SSD Card

3. Use it with Wubi to install under windows

4. Use it with virtualisation software such as Virtual box to run it in a virtual PC

5. Ignore it.

If you let us know which of these you would like to do and what OS you are using I'm sure one of us can advise further.

In Ubuntu (and with 3rd party software in Windows) you can mount the ISO
