Why do you not have a backup of the files you need?

The reason I have no back ups are because i only had it installed on my desktop for three weeks. The files I need are some of the training videos that are on there for me to learn the Operating System.

In order to save your files you can run a live system from a cd or usb and then you'll have access to the files.

This is what I am looking for I want the operating system back up and running so I can continue to learn the system. Running the system to save file could help me save the files but it does not get the system back up and running. I looking for more of a repair command or a repair disk.

You can boot to the install CD but select to test the OS and you can copy the data you desire.

Israel, it may be less effort reinstalling it.

Can you help with this problem?
