i want to uninstall ubuntu. i dnt know how to run my windows xp installation cd

i installed ubuntu today and after a minute navigating around it.. I HATED IT! Things are to complicated, confusing and fustrating. i placed my windows xp installation cd in and reeboted.. it took about 30 - 40 minutes for it to copy then when it rebooted i logged back in and nothing had happened... I hate this Ubuntu.. In windows you just install a cd and open it and it runs. ubuntu keeps popping up error messages everytime i try to open the cd.. i hate this. please help me i want to reinstall windows xp...

I'm sorry to hear you don't like Ubuntu. Most of the people here prefer it to Windows and I personally only use windows at work and only because my IT manager tells me I have to.

If you installed Ubuntu as the main operating system then unless your Windows CD is faulty it should just install over the top of Ubuntu replacing it. If it doesn't what error messages do you get?

Ubuntu is not Windows so please be sure to read some of http://ubuntu-manual.org/
