How is ZORIN OS compare to UBUNTU 12.04 ?

Asked by Navin Talati

In a magazine "Linux For You" (efyindia.com)-August-2012 Issue, I came across a news about the Zorin OS 6 described as specifically designed to make the Windows to Linux switch smooth. I referred on the net and it is high-lighted as:

Main advantages
The Zorin OS operating system gives you the ultimate desktop experience. Some of the advantages of Zorin OS:

    No risk of getting viruses
    Much faster than Windows 7
An easy to use and familiar desktop
Customizable user interface thanks to our Look Changer
Stable as it is based on the robust Linux operating system
All the software you'll ever need out of the box
Extremely versatile and customizable Open Source software
    Available in over 55 languages

My actual confusions are following. Could following requirements be fulfilled if I swith over to Zorin OS 6 from Ubuntu 12.04?

1. Which one is better?
2. Could I directly switch over to other OS (Windows or Linux distro) directly from the Desktop of Zorin without re-starting the
     machine?
Please have your openion and guidance.

Neither is better, nor worse. It's like asking which is better: coke or pepsi?

Its a nonsensical question but a lot of Windows users seem to think there is a best but the fact is all you will get is opinion (see coke / pepsi earlier).

If you make a dual boot system you will need to reboot to get to the other system

ZorinOS is also not supported by the Ubuntu community, it has it's own community and IRC channels etc. You will need to reinstall Zorin OS to replace Ubuntu

When a person is not fully knowing the matter technically, is ios the "COMUNITY" concept to retrive any help or opinion. And that is the reason that I have aksed very clearly "Please have your openion and guidance." Permit me to state3 that there does not exist the matter of " nonsensical question" but very clearly OPINION is requested to GUIDE.
However, your reply is sincerelly appreciated and I am very much THANKFUL to you.
With regards.
