i cant install ubuntu 12.04

I downloaded the ubuntu 12.04 32 bit from the site
I burn the cd with nero
I boot the pc and then i see the purple back ground and ubuntu name
Then a black screen comes and i see these errors
 Filesystem check or mount failed
a maintence shell will be started
contorol-d will terminate this shell and continue booting after re-trying
filesystems. amy further errors will be ignored
proc/self/fd/9: 21: proc/self/fd9: /sbin/sulogin: input/output
error/mountall start/starting

Some of the errors where reapeating
Plz help.me

There might be some problem in the iso package that you have. If possible, try to install it on some different machine from the same CD/DVD. Otherwise, download the iso package from the Ubuntu website and try again. If the problem persists, you might need to format your harddrive.

Note: Instead of burning CD/DVD, you can also create live USB. The process is fairly simple and straightforward. You can search for it on the Internet.

First, to not waste your time using a defective install cd, be sure to have a good install disk please verify it from the first menu item that come to you when you start your pc entirely from the install cd... (verify media)

Then if it fails be sure to check the md5sum of the iso image BEFORE to burn it to a cd.
