power cut

Thank you so much for your reply sir. it was very helpful. However, after the installation process was going on in terminal for at least 6 hours and about 60% installed, there was an unexpected power cut, due to which i lost the internet connection and the system being shut down. After the power comes, should i need to install the process from the beggineeing. or it shall continue from the installation process was left. please help me. if if need to do the same from the beginning, im tired sir. pls help me

im in chennai suburb. there will be power cuts often. every time there is a powercut, should i start from the beginning, is there any other solution. yesterday the upgradation to 12.04 process went on for 6 hours, almost 65 per ccent over. pls give me any other solution than starting from the beginning pls pls pls

I can recommend you get a UPS then and it won't affect you, it will also stop your hardware getting damaged.

no, ups is only for the cpu what about internet connection sir, the internet modem will be stopped no

You can connect multiple devices to UPSs. The thing your keyboard is connected to isn't the CPU, there is a CPU in there but there is also RAM and HDD. It'snot just a processor.
