Installed Ubuntu overwriting entire disk how to recover old data and partition... ?

hi ! i replaced my window 7 with ubuntu 11.04 but after replacing i lost my all data approx 250 gb and all the drives are converted into a single drive i try but can't recover my data plz give me a solution for recovery of my data ??

Why install Natty. It is EOL in October, giving you just 4 months of support. Precise has 5 YEARS support. Strange choice of OS....

By far the best solution (reliability of data integrity and chance of success) will be to use your backups.
