Asked by Saurabh Dudi

I have a dell inspiron 700 m and I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on it. Now I wish to install Windows Vista on it. I have got the Windows Vista Disk. The problem is that when I restart the system to boot it from CD for installing, the system is unable to boot it from the CD. I have selected the CD ROM as 1st option in boot order and still it runs Ubuntu. Please help me out.

Have you saved all the BIOS setting after selecting CDROM as first priority ?
You can also try pressing F12 after starting up your system , that will bring up the menu to select booting device .

Can you help with this problem?
