Full installation: i want to have only Ubuntu

Hi,

I have just install UBUNTU on my pc.
The system has automatically created a partion of my memory that manteins both windows and UBUNTU.
The problem is I want to have only UBUNTU.
how can I do?

1) If you are unfamiliar with Linux you might be better to stick with dual-booting just now.

2) Does Ubuntu work fully e.g. wifi? Video?

3) In the installation process the option is given to "Use Entire Disk". Did you miss that?

It occurs to me - how exactly did you install Ubuntu? If you inserted the disk while Windows was running, you now have what is known as a 'wubi' installation that relies on Windows being present in order to function. Is this what you did?

i didn't see the option "use entire disk"
the only function was "how much space do you want to use?"
I try to do it again.
Maybe I didn't see it.

yes, I insert the disk while windows was running but I don't wanna this 2 partitions, I wanna only Ubuntu...

That is not the best way. Boot from the disk and you will get the option 'Try Ubuntu'. There, you will see if it is possible to use this version on your hardware. Try it first before you try a full install. What you have now is not a full install and you cannot get rid of Windows. You must boot the disk from shutdown computer.
