Can not download alt image

Asked by Noctechie

I am new to the linux community. I am trying to install ubuntu on an Xserve and need the alternative mac iso 64 image.

I found the image I need at this location:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/

However when I click to download this image.

precise-alternate-amd64+mac.iso

I receive this error.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access Denied</Message><RequestId>1E90C698F6B80E86</RequestId><HostId>JrOoOyS/loU8AysXEU7HnkX+PJoAnW/oRZAjcgjYs7wNVrVNP5/8mn5QRIZ5anya</HostId></Error>

Not sure whats going on, I believe it has to do with the +mac at the end >-<, because the other images seem to not have a problem downloading.

This is how I worked around this issue. I went to
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/12.04/release/

which still has the problem with the +mac in the filename. But I used the Torrent link and downloaded the iso through microtorrent.

just burned the image to dvd.

Thanks Miha for reporting this.
