Installing windows

Asked by Malay Chatterjee

Presently I have 40 GB of space with .xt4 file system where Ubuntu is installed and 120 GB of unallocated space recovered from Ubuntu through Live cd. When I am trying to install Windows xp, it is not finding any hard disk and not getting installed. I tried by converting the unallocated space to NTFS and also by creating space in front of the Ubuntu partition by moving it back, both producing no result. Can anybody help, please?

Unpartition the space you want to install WIndows to and it will be seen.

This is not a Windows support forum. I suggest you post in a Windows support site as this is Ubuntu support only.

Can you help with this problem?
