Convert from the windows version of ubuntu to native

I like to move forward with ubuntu.

Is it posible to move to a native Ubuntu system beside windows instead with in windows and have the current conficuration saved?

Are you currently using Wubi? How did you install the system?

Hi Robert,

I installed Wubi on a Vista box AMD 4 core with two partions. So within windows. I like to have Ubuntu native and have windows in a virualmachine. Hopefully I can save the current configuration, other wise I have to install Ubuntu in a separate partition

Personally I'd just reinstall then restore config and userdata from backup. Much easier.
