need simple instructions to install a Dell 1135n using Ubuntu 10.10

I am new to Ubuntu and would appreciate help installing a new Dell 1135n laser all in one to an older Sony laptop. Using 10.10 -fresh install last week.

Ubuntu 10.10 reaches End Of Life in about two weeks. Would be better to use newer version, such as 11.10. version 12.04 LTS will be out very soon.

Remember to MD5 test so you know the data is good. Personally I'd go for Precise as it is LTS (5 year support) and is released soon.

Dell 1135n is a rebranded (Samsung) device. Do not know which model. Need to try, to find Samsung driver.
