OS problem: i have ubuntu 11.10 and i am trying to install win 7

i have ubuntu 11.10
and i am trying to install win 7
but whenever i insert the win 7 disc an error saying 'windows was unable to create the required installation folder' pops up.
i have tried installation from the BIOS and an error saw ' BOOT PROBLEM' pops up
i have tried installation from several discs
and i have tried installing vista, XP and win 7 but am facing the same problem.
PLEASE HELP

do you want to uninstall Ubuntu completely or juss want to install Ubuntu side by side ??

If you want to run both on the same harddrive, you will have to install win 7 first, then install ubuntu.
The installer will ask how much space you require for ubuntu, enter your preference then install as normal.

use a live USB to clean all partition of Linux/Ubuntu then you can install Win7 and after that you can proceed with Ubuntu
