can we use Ubuntu on a net book

Need suggestions to opt between Netbook/Laptop computer. This machine will be used to create word docs, giving presentations,
need to install ubuntu on it though.

Less cost
Durability and effeciency are my main considerations.

Netbook or a low configuration laptop ?

yes you can use netbook but RAM matters ..... i have one at my home :)
