defining root file system on fresh install to new disk
Installing ubuntu 11.10 (64bit) to a second new disk on a Windows 7 system
This is a brand new WD drive, both windows and Ubuntu recognize it
Have Ubuntu running from a CD download, eveything seems fine
I proceed with installation, untill I get to point where on the "Installation type" page
where it lists the the two hard disks on system, one the empty one where I wish to put Ubuntu
I highlight the correct disk, hit continue, and it responds
"No root file system is defined.
Please correct this from the partitioning menu."
which I would love to do, except that I have no idea how, and find nothing online pertaining to this question.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
I am a newbie, but this is my second install, so not quite as dumb as few days ago
