Can you load Ubuntu on new AMD system running Dos?

Asked by Joan

I am looking at getting a new laptop with only the DOS operating system. Will there be any problems loading the Ubuntu software on this system?

Download and MD5 test the Ubuntu desktop ISO and burn it as SLOWLY as you can to a CD, or use unetbootin to put the ISO on a USB stick or SD card.

You can then boot this and install the OS

DOS hasn't been around for ages. i'm guessing you mean windoze. yes, you can install ubuntu on most machines. just download ubuntu, burn it onto a cd or usb stick, then run it in trial mode to see that everything works on your machine.

Can you help with this problem?
