Can Ubuntu be installed on a Nokia N810

I would like to install Ubuntu om my old Nokia n810. However, my searches are not finding any complete instructions. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can try installing Debian. I've done it and you can get all the usual desktop apps like Firefox, OpenOffice and Gimp.
