Does not look like what I saw advertised.

Asked by jason ramirez

I saw this cool looking operating system, and all I got was a command prompt.

This sucks, how do I make it look like what you have on your website?

If this requires a lot of command prompt work, i'll probably have to stick with windows.

I thought I would burn the cd 32 bit, and install it and done.

Is there a cd I can burn that just installs what I see on your website?

Yes, jason. There is one. You ahve properly the server or cloud image of Ubuntu there. They have only console access. That are the expert versions for saving resources on servers. Give me a minute. I give you a link that you can use.

Download it with firefox after you have installed the firefox extension downthemall.

It performs automatically a checksum check on MD5. SHA256 is as maximum for this download also possible and supported by the ubuntu servers.

I give you here the link for the 64bit version(it works faster than the 32 version):

www.ubuntu.com/start-download?distro=desktop&bits=64&release=latest

If you have older hardware(please make a inernet search if you need that info) use the 32 bit, but do that not by default.

www.ubuntu.com/start-download?distro=desktop&bits=32&release=latest

Make also a check of the burn, if it is correct burned to cd.
