Is this when you boot to the install CD?

Following the download instuctions on http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download . I believe so. That would be step 2. I was also trying to figure out how to put it on my flashdrive. I have 3GB availabe. Would that be enough?

Yes, you need 700Mb for the install media. You can use unetbootin in Linux, Mac or Windows to make the install USB. Be sure to MD5 test the ISO you download so you know it is error from and complete.

How do I do that once it is downloaded. I used Firefox to download on my MAC. I am not sure how to get to install on my USB.

Hi. This is lion bug, as it can't open new images that are hybrid ISO's made using xorisso. (11.04 can mount normally).

It is not an ubuntu problem ;)

You don't have to mount the ISO, you just point the app to the ISO

Best way to install ubu 11.10 on mac as I did :)
Made a pendrive with FAT32 partition, and copy all files from iso to the filesystem.

???

Yes, that's it, now when rebooting hold alt and select your pendrive :D
Enjoy native EFI boot :D

Can you help with this problem?
