Lenovo s10-3t front face buttons, tablet mode, and rotation

Asked by Weg Flo

Dear Ubuntu community,

I have a little problem with a Lenovo S10-3t and Ubuntu 11.10. The system is working fine but the front face buttons and "detectors" for screen rotation are not recognized.
After a small research on Internet, I find some drivers for Opensuse 11.4:
http://linuxtablet.verusora.com/?p=303
I've tried it, this works fine but Opensuse is not my dream OS :-)
I wonder if such drivers exist for Ubuntu or ifthere is a possibility to "translate/transfer" this drivers.

Thanks in advance!

Florian

I suggest you report a bug.

you may be asked to collect a lot of data from Suse as they are essentially the same OS, Linux. So they would be portable but will need compiling etc for Ubuntu.

Hi Andrew,

thanks for the quick answer.
I'm not sure if I understand you: I should wright a bugreport for a function, that is not aviable in ubuntu and that was "privately" implemented for opensuse?

cheers!

Florian
