On my Apple G4 (powerpc), if I install Ubuntu, will I be able to use a current Flash Player?

I want to avoid buying a new computer. Can I run Youtube videos on my Apple G4 powerpc if I use Ubuntu?

sure. adobe do not make a ppc flash plugin so you will need to use ONE of the below (if you want to try a different plugin you must remove the current one first or you will get issues)

- gnash
- swfdeck player
- lightspark

these will run on powerpc cpus. Alternatively, install chromium browser and use the http5 YouTube, you won't even need a plug in then
