I am studying Microsoft Server 2008 which comes with Hyper-V installed. As you know, Hyper-V is about virtualisation and I am building a virtualised Network in the Hyper-V, and I would like to know if I can install a ubuntu workstation in the Hyper-V, attach it to the network domain, like I would do with Microsoft operation systems.

You should be able...but you could not be able!
Hyper-V is known to have issues with Ubuntu. It seems it was designed to host other Windows OS.
You should try instead VirtualBox (from Oracle) or VmWare virtual machines.
If you choose VirtualBox, I will be able to help you.

Can you help with this problem?
