11.10 ok for L412 or just 10.10 for now?

Asked by Ronald B

Thanks excellent software!!!

I have just installed 11.10 on my Lenovo L412 (it has a i3 chip)
I have noticed it says graphics unknown in system info and the speakers sound sound significantly better with the drivers used by Win 7.(not in theheadphone out so it may be some sort of surround process)
I see now in your certifide list that it supports 10.10 for L412.
Should I reinstall with the older 10.10?
or can I add drivers or some other fix?

Thanks again.

I don't know what is the problem. Maybe it's the driver, and so you should install the kernel of Ubuntu 10.10 in 11.10, but I don't know if this is possible with an easy way. The best thing you can do is try Ubuntu 10.10 and see if really it's better on your machine. If yes you can install it without problem but remember that you can use it untill April 2012:

Can you help with this problem?
