i want to know if i can uninstall ubuntu?

I have an Acer Laptop and has Ubuntu installed and i want to know if i can uninstall it and have Windows Vista?

Yes, you do not need to explicitly "uninstall" ubuntu. Back up any data you with to keep to an external device (USB key, network storage, CD etc), then simply install windows using your windows disc as per normal.

Depends how you installed Ubuntu as to how you remove it. If you resized your NTFS to install Ubuntu then you can simply use Windows disk manager to format the ubuntu partitions and use the space as data partition. If you only have Ubuntu installed then simply reinstall Windows. If you used Wubi then you can remove it via add/remove programs in Windows.

Did you installed via WUBI ? In this case, there is a special procedure to uninstall.
Else do you have valuable data to recover in Ubuntu, and do you have valuable data in Windows partition ?
