the psychocats link mycae gave is cryptic. but the answer is yes you can. but that depends on what you're trying to do. if you just want to download it onto your usb as storage, you can. but if you want to run it off the usb, then no. in order to do this, you have to extract the .iso image to the stick. the ubuntu download pages gives you instructions on how to do this. you can either use pendrivelinux, which is find is easier to use than unetbookin, especially if you're running on windoze.
