ideal size of hard disk for ubuntu installation.

im installing ubuntu on a 100gb partitioned hard disk and took very long to install. any figures on whats the ideal size of the hard disk? i mean, what the minimum and maximum.... hear from you soon.

The minimun HDD size is of 5 GB, for just installing the system. But, are you going to use it alongside another system?
