Dual Boot problem

I want to install both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10. At first i install Windows 7 in C drive. I want to dual boot with windows 7. I want to install Full Ubuntu in other drive like D,E or F. Is it possible to dual boot From another drive. If it possible how i do this. I don't want to use WUBI.
Sir if you give me advice for this reason please tel me the way.

When you install Wndows, only install to a portion of the available space rather than the default 100% space. You can then install Ubuntu to the free space. Drive letters mean nothing to linux and do not tell us how many pysical drives there are or how many partitions each has

yes, you can install ubuntu on a separate drive. the grub bootloader handles which drive to load ubuntu off, so you can have it on your R:, S:, T: drive.

when you install ubuntu, must make sure you're not installing to the windoze drive and you'll be fine.
