Ubuntu 10.04 Intel Drivers

What hardware do you want the driver for? Intel make a LOT of different devices?

We would most likely need drivers for the chipset, it there perhaps a website(s) which would host such drivers?

Chipset also tells us nothing. There is a sound chipset, video chipset and others. Lets make this easier.

Which piece of hardware is misbehaving

Stop trying to sound technical and this will move along quicker.

Nothing has been installed yet, at the moment we are still running a Microsoft O/S, I want to be prepared for any driver problems which may result when we install Ubuntu as the O/S.

Still doesn't answer the question. Is the wifi working (if you have it), is the wired LAN working ok (assuming you use it). Is sound working? Is the display ok?

I have not yet installed Ubuntu on the PC I'll have to wait and see what problems do occur when Ubuntu is installed in order to be specific.

 Is there no website such as www.intel.com, (which provides support for MS based drivers running on Intel hardware) through which I could download drivers in response to whatever driver problems I may encounter when I do install Ubuntu on the PC?

If it helps, everything is working ok on the PC at the moment, though we are using a MS O/S.

You can run the install CD and test which drivers need running. The OS will run in RAM and not modify the current OS.

The fact stuff works in widows is irrelevant. It is a completely different OS with different support

Try to boot your pc from ubuntu live install cd, you can run it without installing.
If all working you have not need of any additional driver
